Tubing anchor is a downhole device for anchoring downhole tubing strings in production and measures. It can improve the stress state of the tubing string, reduce the fatigue damage of the tubing string, control the expansion and contraction of the tubing string, reduce leakage, and extend the service life of the tubing string. Fixing the pipe string during the production process of rod pumping can reduce stroke loss and improve pump efficiency; fixing the pipe string during fracturing, acidification and other processes can improve the pressure-bearing capacity of downhole tools and the pipe string. It can also be used as a mechanism designed to play its role on other downhole tools (such as packers).
Generally, the following points should be considered in the design of tubing anchors:
1. Prevent the failure to cause operation.
2. It is easy to install and use, and try not to use auxiliary equipment when sitting on the card.
3. The stress condition of the pipe string should not be deteriorated.
4. The card release is safe and reliable.
