1. Purpose

The sucker rod centralizer is a new downhole tool developed by our company to prevent eccentric wear in pumping wells. It is suitable for eccentrically worn pumping wells, especially suitable for eccentrically worn pumping wells and directional inclined wells above the neutral point of the sucker rod. Below the neutral point of the sucker rod, matched with the nylon centralizer on the sucker rod body, the effect of anti-eccentric wear is better.

2. Composition structure and principle

The sucker rod centralizer consists of a coupling, a centralizer sleeve and a short section.

Principle: The centralizer is connected to the sucker rod and uses the outer diameter of the centralizer sleeve to be larger than the outer diameter of the sucker rod coupling for centralizing; the centralizer sleeve is a high-strength wear-resistant material, and the centralizer is worn out by contact with the tubing. The abrasion of the tubing can achieve the purpose of preventing partial wear.

1. Hardness of the centralizing sleeve: (Rockwell R) 85-114;

         2. Compressive strength of the centralizing sleeve: 60-90Mpa;

         3. Temperature resistance: 200℃;

The sucker rod centralizer has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient use, long service life and relatively low cost

5. Matters needing attention

1. The centralizer is strictly prohibited from bumping and raining during loading, unloading and transportation;

2. When in use, hit the back pliers on the square of the sucker rod, tighten the pipe pliers on the flat body below the centralizer, and hit the back pliers on the coupling of the centralizer (that is, the three-tooth ring), Tighten the pipe wrench on the cube of the sucker rod to ensure that the centralizer is not deformed;

3. Sucker rod guide must be installed;

4. In the oil well of the old tubing, the old tubing buckle must be chamfered with 45°;

5. Be stable when devolving.
